Mission statement:
Touching hearts and imaginations with vibrant, colorful art that doesn't need explanation.
Starting at age seven, I never wanted to draw anything but faces. I guess I was trying to impress my talented
father, who was a very accomplished fine painter and commercial artist by trade.
After years of sketching practice, observational studies, and my dad's mentoring; detailed realism became
my natural style. Now after many years working as a freelance artist, the enjoyment it gives, feels more like
fun than work. Along with creating my assigned projects with the highest standards, I take pride in always
delivering my best work on schedule.
My portfolio displays a wide range of art and products including: life-like portraits, fine art, simple line art, illustrations
for character development, writing and illustrating children's books. Including writing lyrics that produced a
12-song music CD for children ages 2 - 8. Also, my business background includes vast experience with product
development/licensing.
My husband and I have four adult children, seven grandchildren, and have enjoyed living in Southern California most of
our lives. In my free time I can be found in my kitchen, covered with maple syrup from making stacks of pancakes for our
delightful grandchildren.
